The Department of International Business began in 1975. An EMBA program was established under the College of Business Management in 2005 and the Department of International Business established a separate graduate program in 2006. Its educational objective is to prepare students for the competitive field of international business.
To this end, the curriculum is comprised of four foci: theory and practices in international trade, international business management, international marketing and distribution, and international finance. The department also offers courses in foreign languages, provides programs of information technology and E-commerce, conducts research projects and regularly holds multi-faceted international seminars.
