In order to enrich the academic exchanges of higher education of middle Taiwan, colleges of middle Taiwan signed the contract of "Middle Taiwan Colleges Academic Community Strategic Alliance" in Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology (CTUST). The representative of Providence University, also the Director of The Graduate Institute of Education, Jin-Guo Wang hoped it would provide varieties of academic resource and broaden the sight of students through signing this agreement. He also expected this agreement to help inspire new learning style as well as integrate resources.
The signing ceremony was held by the Vice President of CTUST, Yi-Jia Chen.
He expressed the primary purpose of the strategic alliance is to build a public academic platform which could share educational resources and research results, or propose the latest information of colleges such as conferences and seminary information. The higher education has been more competitive since globalization, and we believe the collaboration of colleges of middle Taiwan will enhance academic exchanges as well as raise students' competitiveness.
The Academic Colleges Community of Middle Taiwan included: The Graduate Institute of Education of Providence University, The Teacher Professional Development Institute of National Chung Hsing University, The Department of International and Comparative Education, Educational Policy and Administration of National Chi Nan University, The Graduate Institute of Education of National Chung Cheng University, The College of Education of National Taichung University of Education, The Graduate Institute of Educational Administration and Policy Development and The Department of Education of National Chiayi University, The Graduate of Institute of Tunghai University, The Graduate Institute of Professnal Development in Education of Da-Yeh University.
