In response to the graduating students’ fear of unemployment, the National Youth Commission has held seminars in different areas of Taiwan to provide students with some tips in finding a job. One of the meetings was held at Providence University. The government exhorts the institutions to urge students have ready before graduation a portfolio containing information about their academic performance, activities in which they participated, and records of their attitude and skills.
