Century Old Churches Display

Providence University General Education Center, through the Teaching Excellence Program, sponsored a display of  local as well as international churches that had been built over 100 years ago at the T- Building  1st floor.

Students of the Christian Religion elective class visited churches in the island, interviewed pastors, received guided church tours, took pictures and made reports about those Roman Catholic churches.  The three best reports in each class were selected for the display.  This project was made possible through the initiative and cooperation of class professors: Sister Ana, MSP, Fr. Kung, Fr. Liu, Sister Lo, MSP, Fr. Francis Yang, Ms. Lin San and Campus Ministry staff.  A 3-D model of a gothic European church was handmade by Mario David Vasquez, a student from Paraguay.
