To strengthen overseas academic exchange and cultural cooperation, Providence University continues to open its doors to academic partners. On August 9, 2010, President Tang Chuang Yi and other key administrators warmly welcomed Ms. Luo Xiao-zhi, of Anhui University”¦s College of Management, who was accompanied by five teachers and thirteen students from Mainland China. President Tang invited the visiting students to consider participating in the Providence Volunteer Service Program and expressed hope that the academic exchange program will continue to create new vision for both universities. Ms. Luo, who introduced the history and current status of their institution, believes that the students”„ cultural in-depth experience and learning will give rise to an on-going broadening of horizons. Last year, Anhui University sent eight exchange students to Providence University.
