The Chinese Language Education Center planned a colorful and meaningful Lunar New Year activity for the benefit of the approximately 300 international students, from 45 countries, who are attending Providence University this year. The students, wearing traditional Chinese costumes, experienced the beauty and intricacy of Chinese art and learned how to concentrate and meditate while doing paper-cutting. Some of the students then took their art work to decorate their rooms; other students plan to use theirs for their family, or for a friend’s wedding.
